This is a short course, designed for those whose health and safety awareness is a necessary part of their job. The course is designed to raise safety awareness and covers the most common safety issues found on Poultry Farms.

The course is delivered by a tutor with over 30 years experience of health and safety issues on poultry farms.

Using the delegate’s own experiences of workplace health and safety, the course aims to provide practical tools and knowledge to enable the delegate to carry out their work safely.

This course is fully approved as a Poultry Passport short course and delegates will receive a Poultry Passport registered certificate.

This is a Poultry Passport approved short course, designed for those who carry out manual handling in poultry production.

 

The course is delivered by a tutor with over 30 years experience of health and safety issues on poultry farms.

experiences of workplace manual handling, the course aims to provide practical tools and knowledge to enable the delegate to carry out basic manual handling safely.

 

This course is fully approved as a Poultry Passport short course and delegates will receive a Poultry Passport registered certificate.

Bio-security and Hygiene Poultry passport short course

This is a Poultry Passport approved short course, designed for those who are responsible for bio-security and hygiene in poultry production. This includes Farm owners, managers, staff, delivery and collection staff, and contractors on the farm.

The course is delivered by a tutor with over 30 years experience of Hygiene and Bio-security issues on poultry farms.

Using the delegate’s own experiences of workplace bio-security and hygiene, the course aims to provide practical tools and knowledge to enable the delegate to maintain bio-security and .

 This course is fully approved as a Poultry Passport short course and delegates will receive a Poultry Passport registered certificate.

Environmental Awareness – Poultry passport short course

This is a short course, designed for those whose control of environmental risk is a necessary part of their job and is suitable for  farm managers, assistant farm managers and owners.

The course is delivered by a tutor with over 25 years experience of environmental  issues on poultry farms.

This course is fully approved as a Poultry Passport short course

Using the delegate’s own experiences of environmental issues in the workplace, the course aims to provide practical tools to enable the delegate to carry out their work while minimising the risk to the environment.

The delegate completes a multiple choice/written assessment to receive the certificate of Environmental Awareness and delegates successfully completing the assessment will receive a Poultry Passport registered certificate.

Using the delegate’s own experiences of workplace poultry welfare, the course aims to provide practical tools and knowledge to enable the delegate to eliminate, minimise and respond to welfare issues.

 This course is fully approved as a Poultry Passport short course and delegates will receive a Poultry Passport registered certificate.
